Gurdwara Sri Tibbi Sahib Gurdwara Sri Tibbi Sahib is a historic Sikh shrine located in Sri Muktsar Sahib. The Gurdwara is closely associated with Guru Gobind Singh and the historic Battle of Muktsar in 1705. The shrine is built on a small elevated mound, known as a tibbi, from which it gets its name. According to Sikh tradition, after the Battle of Muktsar, Guru Gobind Singh Ji stood at this spot to observe the battlefield and later honored the bravery and sacrifice of the Chali Mukte (Forty Liberated Ones), who fought courageously against the Mughal forces. Today, Gurdwara Sri Tibbi Sahib is a place of worship, peace, and remembrance. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine, especially during the annual Maghi Mela, to offer prayers, listen to the recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, perform seva, and remember the timeless Sikh values of courage, faith, and selfless sacrifice.
